You guys will fit right in at Delta, getting hung up on such a minor detail that is so very easily mitigated.
A sealed transcript is no longer valid if the envelope seal is broken. The seal across the flap guarantees authenticity and shows that the transcript has not been tampered with. THAT is the registrar's seal.
