I can cite numerous instances where CS has placed a trip on my schedule, then removed the trip. Just because it appeared, doesn't mean you've been assigned the trip. They have to notify you. Unless you acknowledge the trip, a phone call is required for notification.

And the only required schedule checks are after an assignment and you must determine if you've been assigned prior to the 1500 on an x day because they won't contact you.
Please stop saying 1500...the rule is 9 hours prior to off day ending (yes that is 1500 when the off day ends at midnight)

But 30hrs of rest and PB/PR days are also considered off days and they end at random times other than midnight, but the 9 hours prior rule still applies.

I know you know that, so this is more for the noobs that will read this.

Fair enough, yours was just convenient for quoting, but I was really replying to Sailing’s ‘take’.

Please stop making the newhires who are already paranoid about getting in trouble or fired, think the PWA doesn't "really" apply to them. Once you are IOE complete, you are 100% protected for exercising your contractual rights. This minutia about whether CS can "really" see if you checked your schedule is paranoid nonsense. The PWA notifications are clear. Stop with this paranoid nonsense "if you get in trouble for something else, the chief pilot will remember this and use it against you". Unless you can provide an example of a chief actually doing that (you can't), it's just an unfair attack against the CPO.

If CS puts something on your schedule, and doesn't give you proper notification in accordance with the PWA, you don't have to do it. Simply tell CS that you weren't properly notified, and they will take it off. Just be sure you're correct if you play that card.

How does a GS pay if you fly a trip at the end of a reserve month into days off of a line holder month?

SIngle pay what you fly in to current month, DH and block and MU, and double pay everything else in the next month.

Block/DH/MU in the RES month pays like RES GS….Block/DH/MU in the REG month pay like REG GS (assuming you get over the trigger).

Trip Rigs (credit) goes to the last day of the rotation, so it is part of the REG GS.

Yes, DH pays on the day you report for it.

Don't forget you get a banked PB day for every X day violated in the RES month.
