No data out yet, but gotta believe the 18hr LC callout will have some increase in SC's required. I'm not on the 330 but on the ER lately, there isn't enough reserves to have SC's so very few issued, mostly go straight to trips!

What’s a reserve day worth in terms of dropping one? Thanks!

Depends on the month. Take the reserve guarantee for the month and divide it by the number of reserve days.

This is one reason why it's great that vacation pay is coming up, which brings up IVD pay with it. Right now you lose ~ 1 hour of pay for every RES day you IVD. That gap will close each vacation year until 2025-26 @ 4:35/pay it'll basically be a break even depending on the ALV for any given month.

So in the coverage ladder there is out of base long call reserve pilots on x-days who have a yellow slip.

Is there anyway to actually choose pairings for other bases or is it just the blanket preferences it uses. Do they ever actually assign out of base yellow slips ever?

I think the yellow slip the coverage ladder is talking about is the yellow slip to fly on X days.
