Yep. They occasionally forget to put me in rest, especially when I get assigned a trip that no-ops during an IROP.
Don't interrupt the enemy when they are making a mistake.
I once got passed over for a weeks' worth of crap trips because apparently they couldn't give me them due to 30/168 but nobody thought to put me in rest or assumed I was there.
I was out riding my mountain bike every day. It was glorious.

It used to be that if you hadn't been used by day 5, they would put you into rest after your 5th day of rsv....now it's completely random....often not until the 6th day and if there is any irop, you have a decent chance they forget completely.

Situation—a line holder gets an end of month green slip that has 2 carry out days that interrupt 2 X days of a reserve month.
Do the payback days for the interrupted X days get applied as if the green slip started in the reserve month?

I have LC block of reserve exceeding 7 days after a single X day(LC 9 days-1 X day-LC 9 days.) They seem to have attempted to assign rest at 1200 on last day of block. To make the 30 hour break over the X day.
No notification was ever received or acknowledged. Wouldn’t this prospective rest have required a proactive notification? Or am I on the hook to self check schedule in middle of the LC block? My inclination is to say no, but before I tell them not legal for assignment I wanted to get some thoughts.

2) If your X day is a ** Golden Day, then Rest at noon on the last day of LC is automatic.
3) Otherwise, I don’t think you've been notified.

If that X day was a golden X day, and you had no assigned flying past noon on your last long call day before the golden X day, you are auto-assigned rest starting at noon and will not receive any notification. Notification is not required since the rest assignment is mandatory per the PWA and thus you are (supposed to be) aware of this provision and are considered to be prospectively notified of the noon rest start.
Thanks

The schedule check following a rotation is required to determine if you were put to rest. If you were on a golden day, the contract automatically puts you to rest at 1200 the day prior if you were not on a rotation. That would give you 30 hours exactly. Not notification is required. Just like no notification is required if you were on two consecutive x days.
