“let” them get? what does that even mean?

I feel we deserve our raise irrespective of what non-contract employees get. Our process is different and shall be completed eventually. Their raise certainly doesn’t harm us, and probably helps.

I agree with you. It just ****es me off that I pay DALPA over $600 per month to watch the non-union employees do better than us. I've said it before. We're better off with ALPA than without, the non-union are better off having us unionized than not, but the non-unionized are better off than us.

in no way are the non-unionized employees “better off than us.” That’s hilarious.

This is comically false. Do you think the company spends so much money on anti-labor consulting firms and throwing money every year to placate then because the FAs would be worse off with a union?

What percentage of daily departures have a 4 man crew? How senior are those pilots? How long will it take the average pilot to take advantage of this gain?

That’s more than 1100 hours/year at the top payrate. And how are they doing “better than us” exactly? The company knows they are going to have to pay us, so why wouldn’t they drag it out as long as we are picking up the slack day in day out?

And it's been amendable since 2020. And you can't count the year+ we were losing millions a day.

Not saying we should have, but if we wanted moderate gains, we could have signed before the pandemic. But we wanted to hit a HR. We made our bed.
I’m intrigued. What could we have signed before the pandemic? Details? I hear people say the company would have given us a good deal on time and with a cherry on top if our ask had been more reasonable but I’m not sure how they can possibly know that. It’s definitely possible that’s what would have happened, but it’s also possible the company could have dragged it’s feet anyway. Unless you have inside info you’d like to share, we’ll never know for sure.

I agree that we overplayed our hand last time but this just seems very hypothetical.

I wish they would have gotten 15%

All time pax demand and pay raises being issued maybe DALPA can get something done.

Scoop.
Agreed. But it would have been nice to have our raise on time anyway.

Ed stated this is a $300 million investment in everyone else. Remember the initial offer to us by the company in January 2020 when business was booming? $28 million in contractual improvements. How is that not insulting?
