most pilots got 18%

No doubt, but we have 3,000 more pilots now and are running a much less reliable operation. I don’t think it’s JUST a staffing issue.

absolutely. I would not ever suggest moving it. But 2 step WS trip coverage before reserves means all the reserves in the world cannot overcome a bunch of AA.

Why not?

1000 RES pilots, 500 of them on short call. WS goes 23M7, assigned to a SC pilot, 499 SC pilots are left.

Not saying I'm good at math, yet RES pilots can heed the call of AA.

Obviously I'm exaggerating, but so did you with "all the reserves in the world."

Does qs act like a gs when on reserve?
for example: day one LC, day two X.
qs 2 day with less than 18 hours to report.

Is it just like an “F” coded gs?

Yes. Except for the extremely rare circumstances where they reach QS naturally in the coverage ladder, all QS should be going out with less than 8 hours to report. So the catch there is a pilot actively on LC cannot get a QS unless the first duty period is DH-only. All of the other F code GS provisions (like early report coming off VAC or any report before 1000 on first day of LC) don’t really apply given the 8 hour QS restrictions.

Is there any difference between the NEO's designated 3NE vs. 3N1 except if they are ETOPS certified?

You got your soft pay, time to work for the entire pilot group this contract
Up until a few days ago WB had lopsided benefits from banked PB days. I'd call that a fair shake on soft pay. As a WBB I had no issues with the gains in domestic soft pay. It may have even induced a few mid seniority WBB to bid NBA. If we don't win the PB battle the WB side definitely deserves some attention. As our WB fleet continues growing gains there benefit more pilots.

Your NB pay banding is 100% on target.

And most of the WB got above average pay bumps, seems like you forgot that part.

Nothing preventing the incorporation of soft pays into the WB side, just need some creativity….or doing just like last contract and bumping the WB pay rates to account for NB gains.

That's it.

3NE= ETOPS NEO
3N1 = Non-ETOPS NEO
Also getting the 3NF = Non-ETOPS NEO with 44 first class seats (will have D1 suites once they're certified)

I'd also like to point out that while WB doesn't get any soft pay items, it's still more desirable to do that job than NB. There are plenty of "soft" QOL advantages on the WB side. And remember, the NB soft pays are all penalties. They are designed to make it painful for the company if they make it painful for us.

If soft pay was so amazing, WBAs would be bidding down to NBA en masse
