Funny how the PB days thing has evolved over time. First all days covered, then pilot gets to cherry pick which day covered, then must cover starting first day, then only used as vacation.
Ironically, as stated before, just paying double time (over guarantee) like line holders would make them more valuable for a majority of pilots save a minority in the WB seats.

NB GS = 5.15 hours above reserve guarantee + banked PB
Banked PB = 8-10 hours (high credit 1 day with EDP, a really good one is 11+ hours)
Total = 13-15 hours
OR double pay = 10.30 above reserve guarantee
The second seems like less than the first.
But they were for sure worth more than the 4:35 next september I'm getting for them now.
In addition, PB/PR days during the month are unmatched by any other airline.
Following bankruptcy, C19 finally got inflation adjusted pay back to the high water mark of C2000 levels. I'm not interested in ever giving any of that hard-fought ground back.
I really don't care what other airlines do, I'm not interested in working my day off and get no day off back. Hard NO on ever giving back PB days. Reserve will absolutely suck (and yes, I know it's gone way downhill in recent months).
Annual raises do 2 things. The first is attempt to counter/preempt inflation. The second is (at least sometimes), to advance the ball further down the field with a genuine raise. Every contract must get the payscale back up above inflation, else we are effectively taking a pay cut.

Partially agree to an extent, at least for OOBWS. But again, the quid has to be huge. Like massively huge. They need a deal far worse that we do.
I once had a conversation with my WN neighbor. We were talking about GS and Rolling Thunder. He stopped me and said, "Wait, you get your days off back??" I replied, "you don't???"

Mgmt can’t have them both, saving money, while blaming us for greedy for using aomething we negotiated. They wanna get rid of pb days, there better be some significant RESERVE improvement.
