Mgmt can’t have them both, saving money, while blaming us for greedy for using aomething we negotiated. They wanna get rid of pb days, there better be some significant RESERVE improvement.
There is nothing they could offer in exchange for PB days. They are a unicorn in this business and absolutely incredible.

They already took them (the good part). You can't exchange them if you don't have them any more.

They neutered the value of banked PB days.

Getting time off throughout the month is still incredible.

By time off you mean working on your days off so that you can now have days off on your original days on, so a net sum of zero? (Except for the 9 hours after the trip ends)

Maybe good to shorten a reserve block, but incredible is not the word I would use to describe PB days without the banking option.

Yes, that's what I meant. We are the only air line that gets days off restored. If you can't see the value in that then you're missing the entire point of PB days. Banking them has generally been a money issue (washing or getting paid for dropping), whereas having them applied immediately is a QOL issue.

having them applied at the time and place of your choosing is the true QOL issue (the old way). for example, one 3-day green generating (4) PB on a WB gets you the next month (or any month) off or cash them in for (4) Pacific crossings.

pick up a late returning two day prior to starting a 3 day reserve stretch and you will be effectively off for those 3 days in exchange for working two. Plus 10:30 on top of guarantee. For those able to get 2-3 GS/QS per month that’s significant. Banked use needs restored too, but don’t think that the value is gone. I get probably 5-7 pb days per month, and bank none. Because that’s not how I want to use them.
