Have there been any discussions of forming a tiger team? Might help us get to the bottom of this.

For context, flight aware has DAL at 147 cancels out of the 329 total US cancels. That’s 44%…

Massive open time in my category at 8 PM and 0 reserves says you are probably right.

I saw the oversold flights first hand...saw the delayed and cancelled flights in/out of FL first hand. I don't even remember the exact discussion but I still fail to see how any of what you wrote has anything to do with the real issue (improper staffing and management incompetence)? Doesn't this weekend and the last few just prove you wrong? If things are worse now than they were during spread break then the problem isn't related to spring break. What does spring break have to do with anything? The company is running on fumes, spring break or not.

And we wonder why our management groups drag us out 3-4 years during negotiations. We have the same problem at FDX currently. Greed for premium is more important than long term gains. If we STOP fixing there problems, deals get done quick.

Gonna be an interesting summer. A lot of pilots will max out with IA and GS for 3-4 months. After this it gets fatiguing. Add the fact that we have a lot of young captains and copilots with school age kids that will soon be on summer break. Mom and dad are going to want to spend time with the kids.
Through in possible frustration over the slow pace of negotiations…….

Me, I’m waiting for GSWC. Work smarter, not harder!

I noticed the ATL73NB had tons of open time that disappeared, and I'm guessing it went to reroutes or canceled. Not one single IA was given out which tells me no attempt was made. I wonder how many guys were rerouted into an illegal rotation since the open time was known about more than 14 hours out and no attempt was made to follow the trip coverage ladder, which includes IA's. That means if someone was rerouted into that open time, it was an illegal reroute (a lot of extra pay) and someone would be pay protected as well. Correct?
