OK once less than a year from the amenable date. Guys here are expecting huge raises during covid with gov't support and 3 years of retro is completely unrealistic. We will get slightly more than AA....We have to move forward at some point. Hell, i want a 50% raise but that ain't happening. United will come next with something similar to AA. Our hands will be mostly tied by the NMB to be in the zone. NO administration regardless of color will let us strike.

Alaska is the only passenger airline with a ratified TA post-COVID. All this defeatist talk about how UA’s & AA’s TAs will sink us is pretty dumb considering United did a redo days after the vote opened. Based on the rumors. I see the same happening at American. Until someone has a dud TA actually get ratified, no one has screwed anyone. |
Organizing and striking is a right. The government has restrictions around these rights but yes we can strike. Where are the “rights” advocates? Covid, guns, body etc. Funny how some rights are not worth exercising or defending. This is the right that will have the largest impact on your earnings. Go ahead and don’t recognize it, you’re already not helping.

This is spot on. Even though many pilots will hold there breath and stomp their feet and vote no unless we get 3 years of Retro "at the same rates as if we had signed a contract."........

As a profession I think we need to recognize that managements at the Big 4, either collaboratively or not, are trying see just what they can get away with. We have more leverage now than I've ever seen in my career. No company has ever been destroyed or saved because of pilot pay. Let's try and remember that.
