It’s 18% DOS then 5% & 5%. There is no retro. Plus, it wants to destroy our reserve system and we will be back in negotiations in a couple of years.

Dividing our initial pay bump by the years we’ve been negotiating is not retro, it’s semantics.

While it’s just a trial balloon, its filled with methane.

It does affect you though as senior pilots will never bid reserve again. Unless you’re a widebody captain who is already mid range seniority.

just to be clear any sniffing of PB day changes, automatic no from me. I also bid a line 80% of the time but not a chance I will EVER give that up

Dooo masses they are. Solidarity comes in many forms. Snubbing the basic level of support just shows their true nature. Can’t be trusted and should be ostracized.

Just flew with one of those. Went on an unsolicited monologue after getting dirty looks from a lanyard/no hat CA at the hotel van. His "logic" was: No hat/green lanyard violates FOM, was jaded at DALPA and wanted to give them the middle finger. Hat/lanyard is little kids games.

I commute but there is only one daily non-stop flight on UA/OO so it doesn't really affect me either. I did the 2-leg PS commute but travelling 500 miles the wrong way sucks. Still, it saved my bacon a couple of times when the roads were closed due to fires on the I-5.

Here’s a concept (flame away): how about we demand PB days AND PS commuting? Negotiating in public amongst ourselves talking about trade-offs is not productive. J.G. Wentworth: “It’s our contract and we want it NOW!”

cpncrunch,
Retro should be the full new negotiated rate back to 01/01/2020 IMHO. Delta is going to have to open their checkbook on this one even though the first dollar they ever made is velcroed™ to the inside.

I will not do that if there are no PB days. It would be financially insane to purposefully bid reserve.

I bid a line 95% of the time. And have had 2 PB days in my career.

So I’m just curious about this.

In your case, if they paid rsv gs same as line holder, wouldn’t you credit 130-140 instead of 110-120? And just not have any PB days?

Depending on intl vs domestic use of PB days. They can be quite valuable as well. I understand that.

Why say bye bye to either?
