By default because of poor planning and a delayed previously negotiated benefit. What is the intent of our retirement DC?

currently, that PWA section pays me cash that I can do with what I see fit. Why you want to take that away from me is incomprehensible.

poor planning? How so?

the intent of our DC is to allocate money to us for retirement. My overage is used for that purpose, just not in substandard vehicles that I do not want.

Why you don't want to increase the DC benefit for all and shelter those funds as intended is incomprehensible.

The union should have foreseen this need and we as a group didn't act on this until just a few years ago.
