So you had no problem with RS? After all he’s just an administrator right? A TA1 supporter has no place at the top of our MEC. That was a debacle.

Another tempest in a teapot. Have you guys all forgotten about Memory Rat? Nothing is over until we say its over! What happened when Mike Donatelli went all in for TA-1? The wisdom of the masses prevailed and that turd was flushed. In the connected high information world of the interwebs the MEC Chair is more like an Admin Officer than a CO. The days of uninformed Pilots blindly following Union recommendations are history. Yes he is in a "Leadership" position but his real power is minimal. Look what happened to the UAL MEC guy after their MEC passed and started to push the Turd Tumi TA, a one way ticket to Palookaville - his dreams of National Office shattered. Sell out your constituents and that is what happens.

Is the rank and file going to cut this off at the head? I think the recall motions should start ASAP…
Idk if ATL is a company fortress, but there are clear issues in NYC. DTW and SLC can do better too.

I wouldn't have supported him either for what its worth, but I sure as hell would over the clown act we just got put in. For those that are touting its just a figurehead, that guy represents all of us. He is the face that speaks on our behalf. The company no longer (imo) sees us as both an asset and a cost. We are now simply a cost to be controlled on the balance sheet. This Hartman guy had better understand that. The Professional pleasantries of the past and a strong desire to "work together" for the good of the company are long gone. You have to have a level of respect, and that just flat out doesn't exist on the companies side. Hartman needs to grab a pair and recognize that we are now in a business is business relationship. We don't need to get along with management, we just have to work with them.

But really I just want someone that will continue what you pointed out. After TA1 and more so during Covid, there has been a distinct change with how we are viewed/treated. We just need someone that will hold the line.
