Wait. You believe the Democrats support labor?

You serious Clark?

Seeing a Cruz - Sanders - Rubio - Warren - Hawley coalition (they are the ones on the record against forcing this) tie this up in the senate long enough to put the heat back on the rail bosses is the best outcome. If they can play the arcane Senate procedural game against the set strike deadline (12/9) I suspect the rail companies will ultimately capitulate to avoid a strike.

This works well for us. If they blocked the rail strike and then pilots representing less than 20% of the industry, that will be the end of the 2024 elections. They cannot afford to block another strike and pretend to be the party of labor.

A very plausible scenario. Rail bosses add 4 days paid sick and everyone claims a win.

While I would love to think you are right, Dems are gonna vote Dem. The biggest contributors to the Democrat party are the big business oligarchs in this country and they cater to them. They will screw labor all the whole claiming they are friendly to them and people are stupid enough to fall for it time and time again. It's actually almost comical.

Pfffft. Don’t I wish. You forgot about that little part where the elections are no longer untampered with.
