Schedule Poachers!!

Educate me. Where should I be looking? I am not necessarily against your position but I don’t know how you know certain things without the ability to see said pilots schedule. I have a suspicion assumptions are coming to to play.

How do you see an FMLA drop? I didn’t think the daily trip coverage showed drops. Then again, I’ve never cared enough to look. Yet when I click F5 and look at codes, I can’t find any type of drop code.

What’s being said on here is pretty incredible and disheartening, to say the least. When you have zero knowledge of the individual circumstances and instead flip this into a malicious pilot abusing the system to screw YOU over. You think someone goes out of their way to specifically harm YOU? Talk about narcissism. Have you considered the “junk” that gets dropped on YOU would actually be a more desirable outcome than what she deals with on her own at home? Rhetorical question, of course.
It’s time for me disappear back into the shadows as an observer. You can’t force reason and facts into a narrative based on conspiracy.

“What about this? Why does she do that?” Why don’t you just ask her or ask the LEC? You can easily find out this stuff if you want to have an honest conversation. Sadly, I don’t think they will and they’ll just keep insinuating foul play while maintaining their anonymity online. Sign of our times I guess.

What a bunch of cowards you people are to tear apart a fellow pilot and question her integrity while hiding behind fake names on an "anonymous" message board.
Grow a set of balls and ask these questions on the Widget Facebook page with your own names attached. Let her respond to your attacks. Not trash her here where she can't respond like another one of your chitchat circle jerks.
Or if you're afraid to do that, ask the union. I'm sure they are already well aware of this situation and can explain it to you.
This thread is extremely poor taste and should be closed.

I think what's absolutely ridiculous are the people who think you can just use FMLA willy nilly without any kind of verification. Like the company just throws up their hands and is like, you said the magic word! Here's your free time off!
And more comical is that they feel like only THEY are the ones getting to police its use. Pseudo sleuths who have nothing better to do than stalk other pilots on iCrew.

I don’t think anyone here has a problem with FMLA use, even if it happen to “benefit” the person by getting rid of a crappy trip over a holiday (personally unsavory to me, but I digress).
the problem is two-fold,
1) said pilot was accused of picking up a premium pay trip within the footprint of the FMLA drop (is this even possible? I don’t know) … if this part is true, it needs to be changed in our contract to not allow this, or at least treat it like sick so you go to the back of the line
2) there is no easy way to verify the level of manipulation that is being done when the persons schedule is blocked from viewing. If I were NYC320A, I’d be taking a real close look at someone else getting an advantage by playing fast and loose with the interpretation/application of the contract.
if it’s a one-time “good deal” then that’s a different story.. but right now we don’t know what we don’t know.. that’s the rub

Actually I stated the opposite. I support FMLA with a need. No problem. And if it means I go out on reserve and cover your crappy trip while you care for a family member or yourself, I’ll gladly do so. But there is no need that prevents you from working for straight time and when double time is on the table the need for leave suddenly disappears.

Can you tell me where I stated that I think people can use FMLA willy nilly? Direct quote please. This isnt what that’s about. But you know that. It’s about disadvantaging fellow pilots for your own personal gain. What’s comical is you thinking this is reasonable behavior.
