And they fell short. They actually took some concessions.

Before one totally vilifies APA maybe we should wait for the language? Supposedly they got 1.1B more than the Delta contract. UAL would have to far exceed that just to get anywhere close to the Delta contract because their QOL is so bad. They don't even get DC on their woeful profit sharing and have field standby and their PBS system sucks(not part of the PWA) but needs to be fixed nonetheless. For PBS I think they can only put in 20 bid lines.....and there is no "Else Start Next".

IOW....if another major has a contract woefully inferior to Delta, it might be a bridge too far to expect them to significantly raise the bar in pattern bargaining.

that’s a lie we did not take any concessions. Also, yes, I expected the date of sign top rate to be higher than Delta’s but unfortunately, it’s dead even. However, on the amenable date, it will be higher.

You guys showed them. We’ll see about the rates on amendable date. United will probably raise the bar and push our rates higher well before the amendable date.

I’m a cheap gambler but I’d bet heavy on the under. They’re so far behind on work rules matching industry standard pay rates would be a huge win for UA. Very unlikely they exceed our rates, they’re still fighting over airport standby reserve. It’s absolutely pathetic what’s going on over there.

I don’t know about showing them, but I can tell you that it’ll be a welcome pay bump at the amendable date as we are all passing our C2027 openers.

Unless DAL has another contract by then, which is highly doubtful though the more I think about it.

It’s pretty pitiful if aa guys have to come in here to scoff at dal over a contract that took 6 additional months to achieve the same thing dal got. Even if it exceeds it by just one item who cares. Does it truly only make you happy as long as you’re getting more than your fellow pilot. Don’t measure your success and happiness against someone else.
