AA AIP (no raise for you!)

assuming the 73M-10 (or whatever code we use for the Max) arrives I don’t see how it won’t have the same treatment as the 321 NEO. Not sure how either side would propose different as the 757 replacement, just like the 321N.

It’s pretty pitiful if aa guys have to come in here to scoff at dal over a contract that took 6 additional months to achieve the same thing dal got. Even if it exceeds it by just one item who cares. Does it truly only make you happy as long as you’re getting more than your fellow pilot. Don’t measure your success and happiness against someone else.

delta’s was over 7B over the same time and seemed to start ahead of AA. While I’m not sure AA’s is significantly lacking, I have not seen any area of AAs TA that improves meaningfully on DL’s.

right you can’t just look at total cost of the contract. Have to take into account where you’re starting from. If you really wanna get picky the individual cost of items are going to be different for each as well

These are the things that matter to me. You may really value 18 hour long call above all, but I guess it didn’t poll that importantly here.

Can a retiring Delta pilot sell back his sick time at .66 cents to a dollar, up to a max of $200,000? (You don’t bank sick time right?). Does Delta have “sick if needed”? Meaning you don’t need to burn sick time if you weren’t needed on reserve anyways. Does Delta have a long-haul narrow body override that stacks on top of international override? That applies to any narrow body and includes HI and south of the equator. If a mid-sequence cancellation occurs scheduling has 4 hours to reassign you or you’re done. Isn’t it 6 hours at Delta? There’s other stuff I prefer even from our old contract, but I digress.

Yeah you literally copied our ocean crossing pay. Only change is ours does not apply to HI unless we are also flying across the Atlantic in a NB that month but other than that looks identical to ours.
6hours only applies if the cancelation happens before being airborne on your first leg of a trip. If you are rerouted (Dl speak for reassign) and touch your base they either have to return you to your trip or you are done.
and none of those things are earth shattering. Your sick if needed was already in your old contract so that is not an improvement.
I stand by what I said, DL set the bar, and it appears AA for the most part matched it but did not move it meaningfully from there.

DL does not bank sick time but we get a lot, like over 200 hours a year if you have been here 10 years with a max of 270. Sick if needed isn’t nearly as important if you have 150-270 hours/year vs your 60.

Hey El Peso, riddle me this. You got an extra 1B dollars over Delta's contract cost.. What was the cost attached to get Delta's profit sharing and DC on the Profit Sharing. That had to cost more than a pretty penny or a shiny peso. What do you think that cost was? I 'll take your best reasonable guess.
Thx
