It was offensive because like eveything to do with the trans delusion/movement it makes a mockery of women. It pretends, and then tries to force sane rational humans into agreement, that men can just decide to become women, and poof it's so. That the whole idea that we can somehow seperate our selves into physical and spiritual/metaphysical (use whatever term you want) beings where it is possible for us to use the recent idea of gender as distinct from sex and therefor self identify as something we are not. Until 5 minutes ago this would have been wholesale laughed at (rightfully so) and yet today people take that feces seriously. It was double offensive to many because the dude was not only pretending to be female, he was playing the role (and still is from all evidence) of a 10 to 12 year old female. I am aware that there are some serious mental health issues that go along with the very rare issue of gender disphoria, but for the most part the recent contagion of "trans" is attention whoring and grown-ups failing to be grown-ups.

It really isn't that hard. I would rather companies remain apolitical. But should they take a chance and go down that road, I will make a decision based on that. If I find their views offensive I take my money elsewhere.

Don't you find it interesting that BL tanks while the 'boycotts' of Chick-Fil-A/Goya/Hobby Lobby failed miserably? LOL

I wonder why.

so, you only stick by your principle of desiring apolitical corporate stances when it aligns with your existing behavior?

“Principles only matter when they’re inconvenient.”

Dude. Stop it. You are trying to make something when there is nothing there. Nike/BL used campaigns that were offensive (to me and a lot of other people). I don't buy their products because of that. That's all you need to know. What I find pretty funny at this point is that you keep trying to bait me into something that isn't there.

But keep trying. Dinner won't be ready for an hour.

Dang Oooffff, just give it a rest. Who are you to judge somebody’s subjective sense of being offended? If that’s a person’s involuntary emotional reaction, then that’s ok. People are allowed to instinctively feel certain ways about things. Why is that bad?

And nobody owes an explanation for that either. Again, it is subjective. And nobody else’s business. If they want to share, that’s fine. But there’s no moral ground lost if not.

I thought reacting with involuntary emotion instead of reason is a bad thing?

It seems JB and others are not reacting with emotion, again, that is your lense that you are looking thru and forming YOUR opinion on the matter. I don't read JB's or others retorts as being "emotional" to me they are rather cogent and thought out. I have some good books for you to read on psychology and formitive thought that might interst/assist you, I can PM them to you. It might help you out in your struggle to understand that not everyone is going to see thru the same lense as you, and that doesn't make them wrong, or you right.

It is clear you and I have different opinions on matters, that's fine, I respect your position, and you should respect mine. It doens't have to be devisive. If you could open up the apeture a bit you'd see that we may agree on more things than you realize.

Not every reason anyone has for lilking/disliking something is your business. What's really funny is that it is killing you that I won't divulge mine. The next step for you is to go complete Goebbels and make up something that you THINK it is so that you can feel some kind of sanctimony about your stance on the issue.

But it won't work, because I don't care what you buy/drink/wear.

Oh. And I find electric vehicles offensive too. Care to talk about that?
