Not all of the NB folks are getting the soft pay all the time every time. However increases in pay rates lift everyone, they are across board. I think that's what crewdawg is saying here.
The focus this contract should be significant pay rate increases. And we should band NB as much as possible to the 75 rate. For the 717 and 220 they should at least be banded to the 220-300 rate at a minimum.

The idea is that if the options are dressing up EDP/SIT (or similar) or an even bigger pay raise, I'd take the latter because it would likely have a greater impact for me.
The banding last time just got us aligned with the rest of the industry and I'm glad we got it. Though, I'm not so glad that some fleets were left behind...

Here's an idea:
We need to change overrides (like international, and night if we get it) from a dollar amount to a %. International override hasn't changed in years, to my knowledge, and continually becomes less and less of overall pay each time the scales go up. Having overrides as a % automatically bumps those numbers up each time a pilot gets a pay rate increase (PWA or longevity).

I didn't want EDP and sit to make money. I wanted it so they would make less fatiguing rotations and if they couldn't, to pay me for my discomfort. Just like I didn't want the calendar day minimum to make more money. I wanted them to stop building 21 hour block 4 days with a calendar day off

True, but many seem to be touting it as some great pay raise. I'm glad it's having an impact on trips, but it's not really a raise for many.
"Lots," all 6ish hours so far this year. Better than a kick in the shin, but not exactly a pay raise for all. I'm glad we have it, but I'd rather it stay as is and pour capital into something that pays everyone more.

It's been a win/win

Same. Again, I was for adding EDP/SIT to attempt to do away with some crap rotations and I've never said I was against it.
Correct, and I'd prefer that those rotations pay more, not just the trips with EDP/SIT. Those who do fly those trips get an added benefit of a bigger rate for the EDP/SIT hours, not sure why anyone would be against that.
