No pilot here caused this — outside of a pilot wannabe in management who occupies a spot on the list for some reason. Furthermore, pilots across the entire seniority spectrum are using their negotiated AA benefit and receiving M7 payments.

You stated that the pilot(s) responsible for this fiasco are senior to hockey. I reminded you that Ryan Gumm is actually junior to him.

If Hockey was senior enough to be upstream of the AA slip funnel, he wouldn't be here clutching how pearls.

As much as I agree that the company originally caused this, I applaud your persistence to pretend like senior pilots farming aren't playing any role in this whole "thing".

There are plenty of things the company can do to fix this (pilot staffing, CS staffing, CS pay/training/experience, less fragile trip construction, unused PWA levers, etc.)

AA is the same as anything else in the contract. Never blame a pilot (or the company) for operating within the PWA.

anyone else heard this? Know more if it’s true to some level?
