They are flexing the quick slips in ATL this morning. Also getting IA calls. When do we get the “quick slips were a great success!” email from flt ops? Hope ALPA audits all the 23m7 payments because I’m sure it’s screwed up.

Bunch of senior dudes don't want to be woken up in the middle of the night on a single 12 min window to fly a trip over the weekend and potentially burn QS#1 on a 5.15 1 day recovery trip with only 1 week since QS implementation and plenty of pilots out on the line still not knowing what a QS is.....

Seems reasonably possible to me

Data point of 1 but.....my category first QS went out yesterday....ARCOS first called for IBWS Proffer....no GS call.....then ARCOS QS call....obvious they used 23M7 to skip somewhere between WS and QS....went straight to the 23M7 and it was already annotated....and I assume it's corrected because the hatred pilot listed in the literary #1FO in the category.

Not proof that it's right all the time, but whoever was working that scheduling desk yesterday is actually competent at their job.

It doesn’t seem to be any way to QA the QS going out right now, unless you just assume they went straight to QS so the most sr pilot with availability should have gotten it? I’m not seeing ARCOS attempts at white or green slip coverage.

I know, it’s silly sitting here watching it while drinking coffee, really I’m just procrastinating. Latest project is re-screening windows, it’s not fun. Should be fishing, but broke off an internal anode on little boat and waiting for expert to come fix my screw up sometime this week I hope. Could pull the other one out of its winter slumber….

Ever since the Flight Crew Legality checker can run in the background without having to actually put the rotation on a pilots schedule, they are no longer leaving breadcrumbs via the rotation history function in icrew, so agree it's almost impossible.

In my case, I got the AROCS in baes WS proffer and the QS calls, but no GS call, so I know they skipped it.

Good luck with the boat..... I need to re-screen some window screens as well, but still have lots of snow here....so that's a Spring problem for later.

Coverage is humorous now! Easy overnight turns that were impossible to white slip before, now nobody is touching them! No one willing to fly for less than premium pay! Talk about backfiring for the company!!

And I got all the re-screening done!

(shameful ask) Somewhere in the 2528 posts on this thread, someone had posted the 23m7 recipe for the 3 WS you gotta put in to maximize the *cough* opportunity to be passed up on for a slip. Thereby getting some free monies... I searched and searched, but I can't find it now. Anyone wanna help out a poor 717B?

Does that post help other pilots purposefully slow down the coverage ladder with OOBWS, then letting the 12 minute timer run out so that commuters like hockeypilot miss out on premium trips? That one?

If you have to ask, you're not ready.
