The depths of the Iranian regime’s evil has been a virtually non-partisan topic for decades.

Now we’ve got a bunch of dudes clamoring to pull a “can you blame them for not keeping their deals?”

How about they are among the most evil people on earth and would have never kept a deal in the first place.

What a bizarro world we live in.
I don't think we need to bomb every country that does something we disagree with. Not one person is defending the Iranian regime and their human rights record.

Ali Motahari: “Our real goal was to build a bomb. No point in denying it.”

Reporter: You mean the goal really was to make an bomb?

Motahari: “Yes. 100%”

Reporter: Whose goal? Certain individuals, or the entire system?

Motahari: “The whole system. Everyone who started this. The real goal was to build a bomb. We had started, and we wanted to go all the way. If we could keep it secret and test the bomb, it would be over. Just like Pakistan. Once we began, we had to finish it.

Reporter: What you’re saying… won’t it affect negotiations?

Motahari: “… the foreigners will eventually find out anyway.”

Non-partisan issue. If you find yourself playing partisan and leaning towards defending the Iranian regime for anything they’ve done, it’s time to take a step back and evaluate how you got to that point.

No one is defending or supporting Iran. Take your strawman somewhere else.

That’s exactly what you guys have done for many pages.

Here’s a direct quote from you.

However, can you blame them for balking at it considering the US's and, specifically the Administration's propensity to renege on deals?
Very disappointed in you guys.

Sounds similar to the defense/support/justification of Hamas and their attack on Israel on Oct 7

Seems like a lot of people think that the Iranian government is like other governments. They are jihadist, you can't negotiate or come to terms with jihadist as their motivation is to exterminate you.

The problem of Iran having ballistic missiles, drones and nuclear weapons will never be eliminated until the source is eliminated.

Iran is a great candidate for nation building, they have a population that is one of the most educated in the world. Imagine Iran as a liberal democracy, it would transform the ME.

bingo. david boies, one of the most strategic thinkers and completely apolitical, wrote about this exact thing in the wsj. it truly feels like the dems are rooting for failure to be able to say “i knew it and I told you so” simply because of their hatred of the current admin. id challenge anyone to read this apolitical article and still feel the same way.

Partisanship on Iran Is Dangerous for America

Trump is doing the right thing for the U.S., and we Democrats should judge the war on the merits.

Why David Boies Thinks We Should Support Trump’s Iran War

The prominent lawyer says that Democrats should get behind the President, and make sure that he finishes the job.
