That’s the problem. It is almost 100% reliable and fast. We prefer to keep our customers guessing if the internet will work or not. Adds a bit of excitement to their flight. When Starlink start launching the 3rd generation Satellites in the fall it’s going to blow all the competition away. We don’t want to be an early adopter however and will switch when Starlink announces gen 10!

LoL. Mine started getting really really hot, then started smoking. This was at home though.

What an absolute blunder that whole surface debacle was. Hey, it's the "delta difference" dontcha know.

Yeah, gotta get the kinks out of it first.....25 years later.....still on some sub-optimal service provider...

This isn't hard. Just go with Starlink. It works, it works really well, and is only going to get better.

amzn has been putting up satellites for a while now. it’s not just connectivity, but also the end user experience. it’s a home run, imo. combine it with the new seats and the 350s and you have the best overall experience there is.

Amazon has been launching their Kuiper satellites for a bit now.

I honestly don’t see how this a bad thing. Starlink isn’t the only game in town anymore.

I'm interested in Trip's response to this too. He's been all about the ViaSat

Amazon Leo currently has less than 200 satellites in orbit, planning on 10x the amount of satellites by the end of this year via “Project Kuiper”. Sounds sweet until you realize Starlink already has 8,500 satellites currently in orbit and expanding to over 13,000 satellites in constellation in the same timeframe.

My assumption on why Amazon Leo won with Delta and may end up winning with American is costs/add ons Amazon is able to offer that Starlink can’t match (yet).
