I couldn't care less about what the FAs get or don't get* and I'm not taking them in account at all. I just don't particularly care about DHing around in FC unless it's across the ocean, despite what UA/AA has, and I don't want to waste negotiating capital fighting to get it especially when the company is going to get all bent out of shape about it and extract an unreasonable amount for it. I really don't care about the company's feelings and am willing to hold their feet to the fire, but let's be real, some battles are worth fighting and some aren't. Give us actual DH rules, give us C+ and no middle seat, even if it's last second, give us a pay penalty otherwise. They can keep FC. I don't need the extra orange juice on my DH for ATL to IND.
Again, as someone whose 6 of 13 legs this month were DHs.
*I care about the FAs, but when it comes to pilot negotiations, they're pilot negotiations.

United’s language (or better) is the only acceptable DH standard for our next contract.

You should be subject to a DH transcon in the middle seat in row 34 then. I think you'll change your tune. Doesn't matter what you think, It's what the larger pilot group thinks, and personally I vehemently disagree with you on this and the polling data does as well. Our DH language sucks. Period. It needs to be improved upon.
