For IcrewMax users. Does checking your schedule on icrewmax satisfy the requirement for the section of the PWA that states that a reserve pilot must check his schedule either DBMS or VRU upon block in from the last leg of a rotation? I checked it after blocking in and nothing showed up. I got a 404 call an hour later and am trying figure out if I need to return the call.

It doesn't matter how you check it. The catch is that the moment you are released from the trip, you are back on long call and they can assign you anything that is 12 hours out (10 hr for SC). So use iCrewMax to check and see what they want.

they've got you, chances are if they called you it's legit. i still don't answer, but i do check the voicemail.

How would you know if they assigned you short call though? Doesn't it just download the updated pairings?

"As always, your active work schedule is on iCrew (w/o iCrewMax enabled) and it's your responsibility to confirm with it."

Icrew Max disclaimer

iCrewMax does display SC but you can always use the phone and call the VRU for your schedule as well. The only reason that you are required to check your schedule after a trip is to give CS a way to make an assignment without the necessity of contacting you by phone. Your LC responsibilities start immediately after the trip.

I assume Delta will be hiring soon, considering retirements and the arrival of the 717's. Any idea when the hiring will take place? Any idea how many they plan to hire? I assume it will be quite a bit since they are adding 88 aircraft.

2 more days for the early out and the KLOA bid. Heard we are up to 200 on the early out. Anyone planing on taking September off on the KLOA?
