That's not the way I understood it, Jesse. I thought if scheduling had two pilots, with all things being equal between them, except one pilot had a request with preferences to to be used only if needed for SC and the other pilot had nothing, they would put the guy without the request in in SC.
Not that it matters for me. I always seem to be on SC -- regardless of seniority, buckets, days available -- and when I ask them about it, they always have a reason. :D If I passed along misinformation, please forgive me. |

Thank you. I try to be as fair as possible.
Your participation in maintaining confidentiality is appreciated. If I personally catch someone trying to share your identity, I most certainly would delete that as soon as I saw it. I do not know of any mods who are compensated. It is a volunteer position. I've never know it to be any more then that. I don't play the IP address game, but that's me. I can't control what other mods do. Like the airline biz, I'm just a pawn on the giant chessboard. :D I do believe you to be as fair as they come here however. :) |

Nope... he said it exactly that way. "this game wasn't a test for us" I wish I could get it on some tube...
Why would he GAS about Mizzou anyway? He already won that game.. Besides, the Dawgs go to Mizzou and win by 3 TDs, and barely get by at home against UT??? Really? Personally I think he's getting ready for the critics when they go all Chicago Cubs... as usual. (I really hope ya'll kill the gators though for a change) |

If I were a fan of the number 5 team in the nation and I squeaked out a win like the Dawgs did against an unranked anemic team like my Big Orange... the word I would NOT use is "celebrate".
It was a celebration of not being on the wrong side of the score. It was a good display of offensive power and a bad display of defense on the part of both sides. You take the victories where you can find them. I was impressed by the Vols offense. Hopefully they will keep Dooley around for another year. We secretly root for him, unless he's playing against Georgia, because Barbara is like everyone's mom. We hate to disappoint mom. |

Puuleeezzeee! Every time I've seen a particular mod around the lounge at work he's always telling pilots who he thinks all the screen names are to other APCers. Not all of you are impartial. I've heard him talk about who he suspects Check, Slow, Scoop, 80kts, Denny, Sailing, George, Super, Dal88, Buzz, T, Bar, Ferd, Alpha, Nu, cni - not to mention you and plenty of others. This board is far from anonymous and it seems to get less anonymous the more you lean towards ALPA...just sayin' and I've had Mods PM me based on my specific IP. It isn't cordial it's tracking.

Hey, can someone repost the PDF to your contract or a link to it? Goodreader decided I didn't need any of my documents anymore. I'd like to be able to compare the actual contract with whatever we're about to be considering at United. The real thing is better than the select bullet points our MEC will feed us.
Thanks in advance. |

(I really hope ya'll kill the gators though for a change) Tracy Wolfson: "That's right and coach this was your 1st big test and what a test it was....what did you learn about your team tonight?" Mark Richt: "Well I don't know if this was our FIRST big test, I thought Missouri was a pretty good test out there at their place, but uh..you know what, we did what we had to do to win, I'm proud of everybody and uh one more victory umm and we're still racing to Atlanta so that's all....all I care about right now. Thank You." Tracy Wolfson: " You're welcome." Now I don't know what side of the Rocky Top Holler you grew up on, but here in Georgia, we listen a bit better. You are wrong...admit it for once rather than double down. That is the exact transcript verbatim with all the umm's, uhh's and but's. :p |
