But since you're here, maybe you can straighten something out. I'm hearing that another poster wasn't right, that it wasn't DPA that went to the CPO. Did TT go to the CPO rather than ProStan over the DPA jumpseat issue? I'd have a real problem if my ALPA representative went to the company first. What's the truth, as you guys seem to be so connected?

Hmmm......

It looks like UCAL is extending interviews to guys with previous job offers. Class dates in November. If you would have told me three years ago that I'd have more chance to progress there than at Delta, I would have said, "Not a chance." Now, not so sure. Thoughts?

Really? What in the world leads you to believe you'll progress there faster than at DAL? Go for it if you want. I'd stay right where your at....a company that's kicking ass with a incredibly seamless merger under its belt and near industry leading contract recently consummated. It's a no brainer in my book.

Since you are referring to your representative I'm guessing you are C20 in which case you could contact TT yourself and ask. I don't have a clue. This and the C54 question need to be asked of the representatives directly.

You'd think that the fervent supporters of an administration so hard over about rumors would want to go right to the source, instead of the place some profess all the rumors start.

So there I was nonreving from DCA to ATL and gate checked 2 rollerboards. Put them where they needed to be and got on a 737-800 with 44 empty seats. Both bags were scanned in at DCA and only one shows up scanned in at ATL and the other is in Purgatory somewhere. First time it's happened to me. Anything I can do if it doesn't show up? Are we SOL? Oh yeah we pink tagged a stroller and carseat and even those made it!! (Filed a claim already at baggage). Anyone else have a similar story?

If you have your claim check with the number you've got protection, just like a revenue pax. You've filed a claim, so the process has been started. It will be slow and painful. You can also try to call station ops in DCA and advise them of your boarding gate to see if they still have it.

You weren't so shy about sliming just a few months ago...epiphany?

It would be good to see the level of discussion here raised.

That would probably happen if you would leave.

It looks like a fabricated issue to me.
You can't have a member-in-good-standing rendered ineligible to run.
So if you had nominations one day, he's ineligible to run as a CA.
If you had the nominations another day, he's ineligible to run as FO.
But he was ALWAYS eligible to run.
That's why I say it's a fabricated issue.

Sure he's elligible, but by a technicality. I voted for him last time... this is certainly not the honorable thing to do by running for an office that will put him in FO rep position a year after his captain award.
