Very sad the longest winning streak came to an end today. Guess it isn't good when your QB gets a DUI and is suspended, back up QB is a freshman, and down to our 3rd string RB. Not a good beginning to the Big 12 for us.
Bingo! The outpouring of the types that want to hold on to the establishment for dear life has been interesting.
It is. Maybe it's recognition after all that 38% is actually a pretty big number after hard-selling the TA, management falsely insinuating hiring is right around the corner with a yes vote, stressing the time value of money, spreading fear that the NMB will ice the pilots indefinitely, etc. Some portion of the 62% wasn't too happy with the way things went down, their yes vote notwithstanding, which puts some people's cozy little fiefdoms in danger. It's only gonna get worse when large-scale hiring finally commences and DALPA is flooded with former RJ pilots who don't buy into the jobs-for-pay paradigm that has facilitated DALPA's cozy relationship with management thus far.

SNL... fail due to lameness.
SNL is DOA. Hasn't been good for years. I only watch it when the music groups are good. The comedy sucks.

The funny thing is, it's been probably a good decade or more since I've talked to someone who found SNL funny or relevant or interesting. Nobody watches it. So what keeps it on the air!?

The portrayal of Chris Matthews' breakdown and MSNBC losing it was pretty funny. Then I got bored and put on a dvd.
