What you'll need to learn to get your blood pressure down is that management runs the airline, we fly it. While we are lucky to have the CROT and a relatively robust Fatigue Risk Management plan, we may not have the right to disagree with the company, in the eyes of an arbitrator.

This helpful tidbit may assist as well. An arbitrator must rule based on past precedent, the contract itself, negotiating history, as well as his own gut feelings. If there was nothing binding him to an A330-300 Class I facility, then he was forced to rule based on - you guessed it - anything but the whims of the pilot group.

I was a yes voter. I did my own analysis. In fact I didn't pay much attention to the junk that spewed forth from the company, or ALPA, because it was all spin. The contract is solid, and I think it was a good step in the right direction. It made me happy - and don't forget it's in the company's best interest to only impress 51% of the pilot group so - I guess I'm glad to be in the slight majority? What do you want me to say? I'm so sorry I voted yes and that I expressed my opinion in the interest of an affirmative vote and I repent for my sins which resulted in just as much stagnation as we would have had otherwise?

Would have thought the precedent would have been that it came that way when the aircraft was delivered. I find it a little off base that we will concentrate on individual appearance but not something a little more important, as a friend said...I guess we will get them the next time.

Does anyone know who the company negotiators were in the A-330 rest seat issue or where they came from?

The entire Arbitrators decision and transcripts, 172 pages worth, are on the MEC website, committee pages, Contract Admin for your transparent reading.

This is better directed at HSLD. He banned Jesse, and I protested. He's the boss.

I'm going to see if I can get ftb banned for the turtleneck pictures. I find those very arousing.

Hmm, Most men like the one on the left. I guess HSLD prefers the one on the right.:rolleyes:

Johnso - Since your a mod I get to pick on you for a moment. A moderator banned Jesse for what I assume was the bouncing tatas. At no time were they uncovered. Your post references a baby grabbing some tatas and by golly they bounced too!! :D Maybe the senior mod went too far. It just appears hypocritical that a moderator can enjoy and reference jiggling fun bags and a frequent and well loved poster gets banned for the same thing. I understand the necessity to keep things "under wraps"....but I also appreciated being kept "abreast" of some big topics. The twins seem to have a calming affect on us when we get wrapped around the axle on certain topics.

Now to keep you all abreast of the latest in aviation. Check airman in yesterdays jumpseat confirmed everything that was deleted from this forum. Now that its just cockpit rumors I guess we can talk about it again, right?

P.S. Today's workout music at the gym was from the Bloodhound Gang. Title of the Album was "Hooray for Boobies!" Good tunes for Save the Tatas month. I think my favorite song is "3.14". Yup, pie.

I've spoken my mind on the Jesse thing, and I'll defer that to the powers that be.

On the LCP thing, now that it's second hand, anyone have any rumors? :D

The head of network even stated recently that it's our most profitable sector.... strange.

If it's so profitable, I wish that Network could get a larger aircraft on the route. As I understand, American is putting their new B777-300 on DFW-GRU after it's delivered. I think the Brazilian route approval people aren't allowing us bigger aircraft (for GRU, we have 2 767-400s and one 767-300).
