So a high end lie flat 757 service?

No hiring until 2014? :(

DC-9s sticking around to cover for the 757s exiting this year?

1. Yep. Also there will be some high density configured 767ERs for "beach" flying out of NRT.

2. No clue on that. They seem to be sharply avoiding the subject in any official commentary. No bueno. But hey, mgmt got their quick TA to lock down costs!

3. The DC-9s are sticking around to cover for the 8 757s that are being parked at the end of this year.

So it's not an increase in mainline aircraft but rather just holding capacity in place. Well I guess losing those 757s is inevitable so I am glad we're keeping the 9ers around.

About these HVC 757 arrangements, where would they go? And in airplanes the size of 757s do you really get much more range out of them when you replace first class with lie flats? I mean are these NYC-Europe airplanes?

Here's a question, if the instructors have already been trained for the 717, where do they spend the next few months? Offline or flying the 88?

So they built a Zaxbys near me, it was about six weeks from the start of construction to the restaurant opening. You'd think that the ATL could transform some of these restaurants in less time but evidently not.

On a different subject, don't wheels work better on C-141s?

I'd expect a good amount of time dedicated to this thread defending the TA until the 717 arrives.

At least Lumber will be easy to spot out on the line, he'll be the guy walking around with the raging morning wood well past the morning hours.

FTB,

I think they're taking the B757ERs they already use on the Transcons, and modding those.

Here's a question about lie flats... are passengers allowed to lie flat with another passenger?

If he was hired when he said he was, he won't be seeing that seat for a long time ;)
