It doesn't make too much difference since the 737s are slated as replacement aircraft but with this little growth I wonder what else is being parked.

88 717s added
16 MD-90s added
= 104 added aircraft but the fleet is only going up by 66.

How many DC9s are currently in the system?

Already answered".....

Great with kids.

Makes all of her own clothes.

Linda Wheatley: Karl, you know what? Melinda here was voted employee of the month at the dollar store last February. Isn't that something?
Karl: Yes ma'am, I reckon.
Melinda: Well, when you like pricing items as much as I do, it's just bound to happen sooner or later, I guess.

Eithad in possible code share with AF/KLM aka Skyteam? BOHICA

About 2/3 through the article:

I read that Eithad is discussing a possible code share with just Air France. I recall our latest contract provides even greater protection against Codeshares then we already had. :)

I'm trying to move reserve X days in PCS. Can anyone tell me what "Violates off day grouping requirements" means?

The bid packet lists your respective categories grouping requirements. For example, NYC 7ER B is 4-99-4.

The first 4 means the smallest group of reserve days you can create is 4 in a row.

The 99 means you can create no more then 99 reserve days in a row.

The last 4 means you can create no more then 4 blocks of X days. IOW, you may NOT have more then 4 groups of days off. So what likely caused that message was that your attempted shift of X days created more groups of days off then is allowed.

I hope this helps.

I'll cast my vote for #17. I also recognized a few avatars in that lineup. :D

It is actually different rules than bidding. You can't have more than 6 on call days in a row, and you can't have less than two x days in a row. So if moving your x day causes 7 days in a row of work or a lone x day it will give you that error message.

Great news, particularly since it's an SEC filing, which carries criminal sanctions if intentionally misleading.

Weren't quite a few on here stating that the new TA wouldn't generate new jobs. This latest SEC filing states that the new PWA was critical to accomplishing the refleeting that's creating a net plus of 66 aircraft for the mainline. Others were on here lambasting a T&G that stated that we would increase staffing by about 1000 with this PWA.

Glad to see the growth. Appreciate the hard work so many of our fellow pilots put in knocking down the misinformation campaign during the TA ratification.
