It's no wonder anorexia and bulimia are problems in this country. Standards are way too high for today's women.

I'll give you an hour to go watch that Pan Am video, actually just watch the first 30 min, about the F/A's they hired, and the Girdle Check, then come back here and tell me how 'rough' today's women have it when it comes to appearance standards!

I wasn't speaking from an employment standpoint, although I wasn't clear either. It just seems there is a lot of pressure on young women to conform to a standard that often isn't realistic. I'm not saying its cool to just let it all go, but I think the woman in the earlier picture was clearly not fat.

No kidding...standards... That was a talented lady. Reminds me of a NYC FA I recently met. I think I need to bid NYC 73N...and stay away from ATL M88. That M88 will take your ticket.
