SWA has been eZed for several months now. I've bought my wife 3 zeds on them online since mid September. I did just see the notice on my IDtravel saying to buy at the counter until further notice. That being said I did just buy her a roundtrip eZed on SWA two weeks ago. It worked great. Just swipe a credit card or ID with the appropriate name on it, or enter the confirmation number that you get from the IDtravel site at a SWA kiosk and voila, boarding pass. However you should still check in with the agent at the gate. My wife missed a flight by not doing this because she assumed she was checked in. I'm a Compass guy using Delta pass travel. I hope this helps.

Thanks JD. :)

White and blue. Must not be afraid to wear white and blue.

I don't know who is out there, but i hope we beat you to him. :D

btw, you might want to take back that orange comment in case you hire Andy Reed.

Would Kirby Smart go to UT or AU? How about some of those coaches running pretty good programs in the MAC?

Yikes, I saw that. I have a friend who's a 777A and just shows up every 90 days to do his bounces. He's flown 2 trips this year. Paid retirement.

If you have a VD into a seat you can hold and guys junior to you where MD from their seat in that seat. Do you not get the VD?

Still comfortable in that back seat?:p

Slow;

You may lump me into whatever pretty little category you like. As far as I am aware, I do the job that Delta hired me to do. I also try to do it professionally to the best of my ability. As I have said in the past, I volunteered at DALPA and was unused for 3 years.

As far as viewpoints go, I don't disagree with that cute little table that you and the OP referenced. I also didn't comment on it.

When I post something on this board, it is my original thoughts on the topic. I enjoy the conversation and I like to see other viewpoints. If I come across to you as a "negateer" it might be my writing style or it might be your reading filter. Whatever the case, I try to write my honest and slightly abridged personal opinions.

If I have to eat crow, my ego is small enough that I am willing to eat it...And admit it.

Were the MDs from your category? If not, it doesn't matter.

I know it's frustrating to see pilots junior to you getting a category you want. Been there.

DAL Pilot Hiring

From the Managing Director of Flight Ops via the LAX road show:

Q: When will pilot hiring begin? A: Not until toward the end of next year, but once it starts it will continue for 15 years.

Hmmmm - seems I heard this before, but better than bad news.

Scoop - Thanks to all the Veterans out there! :)

He probably meant that it will be towards the end of next year before they tell us again that hiring is only a year away.
