There are a lot of good candidates out there, but, politics sometimes takes over. Kiffin on paper looked pretty good, but he left town before the paint was dry. Derek Dooley clearly had no experience, and I just scratch my head at that choice. BTW, you should have beat UGA. They are now in over their head.

Actually, I don't blame Kiffin for leaving. If I were coaching the Patriots and UT called, there would be a flame trail leaving Foxboro. Sometimes a guy's dream job is somewhere else, and it only comes along once. Ed Orgeron on the other hand is a POS, and the only I would put out his face fire would be with an ax.... Dooley was in over his head, but to his defense too, his coordinators left after year 1 and he never was able to get much consistency among his lieutenants. Sad really. And THAT is why I am not interested in Kirby Smart either. We need a recruiter and a head coach. Hopefully Tyler Bray and Justin Hunter will go pro and the new guy can start with a clean slate of HIS recruits. I do wish Derrick the best wherever he goes. that is kinds of weird, Oregon loses to a ranked team in OT and they're behind even in the bcs to s team that lost 35-7 to a 12th ranked 2 loss team. and the even stranger one is UF that barely beat ULL, Jacksonville st and Mizzou? i think fsu has a field day with uf.

Thanks my brother. Don't know how long I'll last. Lil' 80 has informed me that I have had "multiple infractions, and need to tone it down". Pretty sensitive group we have. Not sure if my infractions start over at zero now that I've spent a month in timeout or if I'm one away from banishment again.
