Aren't the F22 CAP aircraft there too?

Is there an IROP forecast in ATL tomorrow? SC numbers are 50% greater for M88 FOs than what was planned for by crew scheduling for tomorrow. What's the purpose of putting that POS out if they have no intention of following it?

Add it to the list of useless items for reserves.

1) Reserve Availabilty List
2) Target Short Calls for XXX

How else would one get to 7 short calls and fly the remainder of their obligation?

Fear not, it will get better after the "next" AE. Reserve is a choice. (not even I could keep a straight face after that.)

As always, TIC

Yes. The temp is below 40 degrees & it is a weekend following a Holiday. Our load factor will be up from 99.98 to 114.7 and families tend to check bags (or are forced to gate check their 4th through 8th carry on garbage bag)

.... ( just thinking, it would be amusing if we could count lap kids Cockpit and FA jump seats to actually acomplish an over 100% load factor. Last week we had 173 "souls" on a 160 seat jet :) ... and a stow away dog, no kidding )

All things considered I am impressed with the way Delta has operated with this traffic density (although we are down almost 11% for the week since last year)

Buzz why not a letter to our VP Ops SD, I'm sure there have been numerous FCRs at this point about the situation, maybe push back from the top end would have a little more oomph. Curious, after block in were you outside the 15 minute window?

Which one of the salesmen was the one that said that? I just remember rolling my eyes at the mention of "not being senior enough to hold reserve." Im so senior that I cant hold a line!

Think thats where the separate block and rsv cat comes into play...the way it is now...some junior or senior block holder wants the holidays off they bid back down to rev for the month and put in the x days for holiday period...the junior guys are still on rsv. PBS global solution is always another way to do it.

If you're in SLC, Qdoba just opened on the lower level of T1 and they offer a 50% employee discount...

Cheers
