It looks like more of a guideline than a rule, at least for now. It would be a non flying duty, kind of like saying good bye to the pax as they deplane.

Yep, the old guideline vs a rule issues raises its ugly head once again:

No, you can buy yourself a controlling interest in HA and install yourself as #1 on the seniority list. After all, it would be YOUR airline.

And I'll own the seniority list.

that's an idea. but i think a start up is better. one that is ULCC but with all of the frills of a foreign legacy, except the frills are paid for via advertising on the outside and inside of the plane... and you pay some... and we use secondary airports without all of the delays!!!! like St Augustine instead of Jacksonville, Lakeland instead of Orlando, that little airport with the runway and no facilities you always see on the Erlin- instead of ATL, Toledo instead of Detroit, Scranton instead of New York, Springfield instead of Chicago, Chico instead of SFO, Bakersfield instead of LAX, Abilene instead of Dallas, Cheyenne instead of DEN.

Should work out great.

Sign in for trip in the A concourse lounge in ATL. Flight departs out of C53 but the plane is delayed and will be arriving an hour late.

New FOM policy requires me to go to the gate and spend an hour making PAs every 15 minutes instead of relaxing in the lounge for the extra hour.

In a word, NO.

Ahh finally. Somebody gets it. That's all I wanted, I can die now. I know when I've annoyed Sailing, I've exceeded my post limit for the week. Cheers!

Actually a 2010 hire can hold the 7ER.

True, but Alaska Airlines doesn't have 757/767's. I was trying to find out just what AS newhire could hold after one year that takes almost a decade to hold here. The 7ER is actually more junior then the 737.

What? Where? Are you just looking at the bottom person on each?
