I got a response from my rep that was to the effect of, "...expect to see something tomorrow." Tomorrow came and went, but maybe it's still in the works. Then again, maybe DALPA was told to stand down and obliged with apologies for even bringing it up.

ACL65 is going to apply the Final Solution to his kids! (after they find his work tablet)

"So, Captain ACL65, we have been watching your content locker and want to know why Thomas the Tank Engine and Elmo videos were watched while you were in a command seat operating flight 4321 over the Atlantic. Further we see two dozen instances of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and Counting Animals. ... and what is with the Myley Cyrus fetish? ... I mean we saw her on Two and a Half men and she's got legs ... but the videos you're pulling up are her younger, like Hannah Montana younger, when she had hair. You better be able to explain yourself Mister ..."

Except is wife loves Ft Worth, and now he is in a conference with an automatic bid. Maybe before we came to Big 12, but now, no chance.

Just like the JAL deal, if it would have worked, would have been a good deal for us only because the profit sharing check would have gone up. But it will result in little to no growth for us, only keeps United and American on the ropes .....or less maneuvering room.

My firm grasp of the obvious for today.

However this deal works out I hope it doesn't drag on like the JAL deal!

Off Topic:

Anyone have any recommendations, or horror stories will do also, on the purchase of an 3-D, LED TV, w/ 240Hz refresh rate?

Looking for a dependable, 55" or 60" with above features. A fan of Samsung, but have seen good reviews on the brand "LG". So decided to come here to learn from a place where everyone is an "expert"!!

Thanks in advance for the replies.

GJ

P.S. Notice the two "laughing" emoticons behind the comment of "everyone being self-proclaimed experts". Nobody take that comment personally, it's too close to Christmas to get into a pi$$ing match about hurtin' someone's feelings!

Buying our own may be offered but again it will be a short term solution to a hurdle not the final policy and plan.
The word on the street is that apple doesn't want to cooperate with Delta nearly as much as Microsoft does. Microsoft would love to have us as a customer for their tablet and operating system. They would be more likely to allow us freedoms with the os that Apple will not. Microsoft also pointed out just how much they like to fly (read: continue to fly) on Delta Air Lines. FWIW, I will believe it when the tablet is in my hand monitoring my surfing habits.

Latest word I've heard is the plan is to issue us all windows tablets sometime later next year.

Take that with a large grain of salt.
