Not cool:mad: The way I see it is that most pilots will be upset at the downward projection of their Delta careers. If you arent upset, then there is truly something else going on. I would like my UNION to communicate, lead and protect/enhance our careers. So far, I only see growth and opportunity at our outsourced partners.

Does growth mean parking a couple hundred airplanes? (that's what our contract is doing to DCI)

While we add ~75 airplanes to our fleet?

Coming in a bit late on this, but missed a few days. Normally, I agree with most of what you say Buzz, but here it comes across as, "C'mon guys, I don't like what that guy had to say, so that makes it so. So, in summary, I'm right, and let's leave it at that. Now move on." Impression: Someone's a bit full of them self with that kind of attitude.

Sorry if I offended you, I didn't mean to.
My main issue is, if already at work, why not do what's best for our company? It is so very clear to me. I'll leave it at that. Don't want to stir the pot more than I already have.

I have broken the contract many times in going down and helping get strollers for mothers because that's the right thing to do, not because its in the contract.

I have as well, and I know management loves it. So how's about we make it mandatory? Mandatory as in, if you don't go get that stroller you can be written up for not doing your job? My point is, give them an inch...

Wanna put some money on whether or not there's 75 more planes in 2016 than there are right now?

Oh, there's something to be proud of.

That's like saying "We suck. But we don't suck as bad as Tennessee."

Small consolation.

Sounds good to me.

Why so negative on the outlook?

Careful about that.

What if we took delviery of 18 787's (or 777's or A350's etc) but lost the same number of seats in 76ER's.

Huge net loss in pilots. Since we're culling the great ER expansion of 07-08 in favor of EU superhub feed, this actually looks very likely to happen too.

Yes, sir. Any extra airplanes I want are on top of the airplanes we already have. I don't want to give anything up.

Long live the DC-9!

History, current events, discussions with people I trust and who are usually correct. Not a real negative outlook, just maybe..... neutral, I hope.
