Mercifully the last one retired a few years ago.

IMHO the pilots I've flown with have been 98-99% good pilots and normal enough to hang with on a layover. The Northeast guys were more like 50/50. Some of them were so bad you saved some sick leave just in case... That was pre-Do Not Fly list.

Would really hate to see us take on another mass error.
Yep, flowing these guys without screening, you'll pick up plenty of NE type guys. That was exactly what I thought of when this was announced!

The Northeast guys are the thing of legend..and not the good kind!

So, they are offering a minimum number of new hires per class, but, you have to interview and they have access to personnel files (maybe).

Sounds like Delta is trying to ensure quality customer service at Pinnacle while dismantling the airline.

We'll give you guys jobs, but you have to play nice or no job?

Sounds fair to me, I guess.

What are you guys complaining about?
This piloting thing is not all that hard.
At some major airlines the new hire FOs started flying 18 months ago and have 205 hours.
What could possibly go wrong?

The Air France accident is a great example of what happens when the plane breaks and the pilot doesn't have any skill set beyond working the automation. It's interesting to note that this issue came up with Delta planes and the Delta pilots handled it just fine.

Plus Daddy D is throwing a minimum of 6K-26K at every pilot if this passes.

What if a person at Pinnacle has applied to Delta and was not accepted because of the interview, not the computer testing. As far as I know if you fail the testing you could reapply in 6 months, but if you failed the interview you were not allowed to reapply or I guess you could reapply but you were not going to get another interview. How might this affect the "Guaranteed interview"?

Also I guess we should now plan for extra time in the KCM lines. Delta FAs are now allowed as well. Not bashing, just pointing out the line will be longer.
