In my eyes it shouldn't matter if I bid for one week or multiple as my only choice was for one of my weeks in the summer months, which I got although it wasn't one of my choices. Man I'm ****ed, I got burned last year b/c I only had 13 days and couldn't split them...learned it the hard way...now this BS

You can always check for open vacations weeks available on Icrew before each bid. For example to check weeks available for secondary bids:

ICREW> Bids>Vacation>Initial vacation bid>Secondary vacation> Display weeks available

This will show you exactly how many weeks are left for bidding during each of the 52 weekly vacation periods. Unfortunately most categories will now have zero weeks left for the prime summer months.
