The vacation move-up process is probably the least transparent process at the airline, and that is saying a LOT.

Get the number for the people who work vacations out of the bid packet. Call them and beg. That's the best you can hope for.

Dude. I know. I dread the days my kids are in school and I have to take vacations with everyone else. I love going to Destin in May and late August/September. It's awesome and seriously the place we rented was half priced.

Too bad flights aren't open in May and September. They're more open, but it's relative, they're less of them so they're still really not that open.

My poor kids, all they'll ever know of the airline industry is it's some weird place dada works. Otherwise, we vacation like the Griswolds.

When a guy leaves a category with his vacation, that week will likely open up in the category right? I suppose if a previously senior pilot moves in with a prime week he will eat that slot but not always.

I agree there is NO transparency in the vacation moveup process, that really needs to change......

That's not landing gear problems; it's supposed to do that.

They hang out the gear on one side to turn sharp. Throws off enemy missiles.

The C-5 guys learned that trick by watching Su-27 demos at Oshkosh.

You know at least Romney put the dog on the roof, didn't Clark tie the dog to the bumper?

Why, it pays the same as that non commutable 7 day trip worth 22.5 hours that you were going to bid anyway. :D

That little guy probably kept up for a mile or two...

You know, if my dog had the Hershey squirts, I'd put him on the roof too.

I wouldn't eat him.

Don't pilots ever buy tickets? Also, I thought at delta, most kids were home schooled so it doesnt matter when vacations are taken.
