Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

I think a few pages back there was a guy asking about whether we might utilize Piedmont for routes out of LGA if ;) we just happen to expand there.

If you go over to the Piedmont thread in the Regional section it is ablaze of rumors regarding LGA closing and a displacement big coming out in the next week or two.

Just more fuel for the fire!

This sounds awesome for DAL guys, but do you think that an RJ is " a larger jet" than LCC's turboprops? Hopefully the increased manning in MD-88's and 73N's up in NYC means mainline jets, not DCI.
