Does anybody know if international buddy passes are refundable once the trip has commenced? I gave a buddy a pass to a friend for travel to Europe. Problem was that he had problems getting back and had to make other arrangements to get home. As such, he never used his return portion of his buddy pass.

Reading the refund policy is specifially says that "domestic" tickets may be refunded for 1 year or expiration of the pass. On international it says that something to the effect that the ticket can be reissued for up to a year, but says nothing about refunds.

What's the deal? Is my friend out of the return portion of his buddy pass?

I had similar experience where a portion on a international was missed. It was refunded.

How 'bout "Protect Essential!"?

I'd say CVG ER and ATL 767 have bullseyes square over the top of them. The question now is will the bottom 50 on the ATL767 have any shot of hanging on. There may not be as many straight displacements but the downward movement could see quite a few of us gone.

You can get it refunded (unless things have changed)......

I mean, I actually do love this thing because its so good yet so bad. But the other day after I used the periscope to figure out if the landing gear was really down or not I came to the realization that the person who engineered this perfect iphone youtube moment has been dead for a long time.

So its kind of sad but fortunate for them that they will not be drug out into the street and shot along with whoever thought the DC-9 overspeed monkey wee wee indicator was a serious and proper warning method, whoever thought the Brasilia prop and flap design was smart and whatever simliar military comparisons that can be thought up. I'm sure there is a goldmine there.

The question for me is whether displacements in the 767 ATL are based on a true reduction in need or being displaced because of the trickle down effect of other displacements? Because I was talking to a 767 crew tonight and it seems like you guys are flying a lot.

I am hoping there is not a reduction in need even if there are capacity cuts coming.

We are flying a ton right now but that will change come September. My gut is that the true displacements may be less but the actual due to trickle down could be fairly large. I'm thinking the bottom 50-60 ATL767B's may have some training in their/our futures.
