If you're willing to be as far as 80% from the number one person, then, you put 80%, not 20%. It's % from the top, as far as I understand.

percent from the top or percent from the bottom? Is the plug 100% or 1% Is the top dog 100% or 1% and yes 50% seems to be the only one all agree on... Cheers George |
You've not lived until you wait until 1am on the 12th to start processing your bids. This is of course after a day of flying and getting drunk on your layover. As you spend and hour building your bids in Easybid and get ready to send them to PBS, your hotel room wifi crashes. You go to the business center and find that it is closed for the night. You frantically try to scam a connection at the one of the neighboring hotels. No luck. Finally, based on the hotel staff's intel, you take a cab halfway across town and go to a 24-hour Kinko's. There you frantically hand jam your bids, one at a time, and the slowest internet connection ever made, only to get finished at 5am.
No, I am not joking. It really happened to me. :( Golf Tango ... Good times. |

Yep, I did mine one time while on vacation in Italy. Wine-fogged and choosing to nap in the afternoons, I failed to factor in the time difference between Florence and the Florence of the South (Atlanta). Woke up in a haze, realized what a loser I was, and hauled ass down the street looking for an "internet cafe." Found one, apparently frequented by men choosing an alternative lifestyle from mine, found the WiFi, and hooked up my laptop in angry desperation. Result: got the best schedule of my short but unaccomplished airline career. Then, went back to my loft and had a nice chianti, with some fava beans.

Why in Gods name would you go to all that work? If you screw up bidding, well...that's what sick leave is for. The DAL 240 hour annual vacation plan
 Now I have standing bids and life is ok if I forget. |

This too shall change. Now only if a few other airlines would cooperate. ;)
(Now how is that for a subtle suggestion to see who actually reads well?) |

Plus, I have a non-airline guy friend that flies a ton, he said he took the Delta Dollars and had to pay more then what he would have had he bought the tickets out right from priceline. Delta Dollars have to be used at Delta.com and have a bunch of other restrictions...Good to see the flying public get hosed once and not paying 108 bucks for a ticket from msp to mco
