icrew mobile
great app, but it keeps loosing more and more of it's value as it gets restricted by Delta. Used to be able to look at open time with one single button press... now you have to do 30 keystrokes or so and enter your passwords etc. but still better than logging into Icrew.

God forbid some enterprising pilot should make a stellar product that DT won't themselves make (see Crew Dog Terminal for iPad thread on the DALPA forums).
Curious what gets the volcano erupting? It was not me who decided to be displaced twice within 2 AEs. Yes, I know I could have bid the crappiest equipment at the crappiest base so I guess it's my fault.
Who knew that after 5+ years with the co I should have never left the dc9.

Looks like Emperor Nemo had no ball$$. The non big snow event is sliding right by NYC.
Does anyone know how this works....? I have a 4 day coming up and after the first 2 legs, the LCA has an OE scheduled, so I'm off the trip. Is there some kind of time frame by which they have to assign me something else or send me home? (The second leg ends outside my domicile too).
In any event, the system from the west and the Low from the south haven't fully combined yet. That low will sit off Nantucket and throw snow bands on shore overnight. Long island and southern CT are getting hammered right now and the winds are over 40kts in BOS. Before all is said and done, I think a lot of places will have close to 2ft of snow.
If NY misses the worst and the operation can reset and get on line quickly tomorrow, all the better....none of which makes your night in the crashpad any more enjoyable....go and treat yourself to some of Queen's finest Chinese Take-out

Yeah, hopefully I'll have time to schedule a deadhead back home from ATL when and if he releases me. Thanks for the info Timbo
No, this VP was pre-carpet bagger days, back when Delta lived by C.E. Woolman's motto; Hire good people, treat them right, they'll keep the customers happy, and Delta will be successful. After the controller strike and economic downturn of 1981-83, Delta was the only Major who didn't furlough anyone. That's why when, in 1983, they ordered the (new) 767's, the employees contributed enough money to buy the first one, as a show of gratitude for not furloughing. In 1985, Delta had been number 1 in Customer Satisfaction for 17 straight years. Until Mo'Ron took over, Delta had NEVER lost money for a single quarter, let alone a full year!
Then, in 1987, Dave Garrett retired, and instead of picking Hollis Harris (the guy who talked to our newhire class) the board chose Ron Allen as the new CEO...
Ron bought Pan Am, paid 3x too much for it, going into a huge recession in 1991, and for the first time in Delta's history, started furuloughing people in 1993. His famous quote, when asked if that would have a negative impact on all employee morale, was, "So Be It".
Ron was so bad, the board finally fired him (didn't renew his contract) and hired Leo Mullen, who WAS the KING of Outsoucing! Leo came from McKinsey Associates, an outsourcing consulting firm.
It was Leo and his underling, Fred Reid, who bought 600 RJ's, gave them to Com Air and ASA, to replace our narrow body flying.

Well...they had 'other jobs', not out on the street, so it's debatable if that's a furlough or what. I knew and flew with many of the guys hired in 1972 I think, who were "Reassigned" to the ramp for awhile.
Actually some opted for the street but they were all offered jobs. Where did that Delta go ?
