I don't think we ever get out of the dbag bucket. :) The RAW score is set so high you never reach it.

Yeah, now that you mention it, even after 25 years, I don't think I've ever broken the cap on the:

Wifey thinks I'm a Dbag ALV+15! :D

Must have been busy because I was told, in short order, you do have a trip, your show time is this, and they were not familiar with online password notification. No clarification or reason was given.

No. I haven't. I'd query scheduling.

And I'd ignore it.... just me.

If you're on reserve, why did you call to clarify? It's their responsibility to notify you. Babysitting iCrew waiting for an assignment isn't part of the reserve deal in my opinion.

If it was a white slip, it's your responsibility to check.

Nowhere. They are junk and we will never see them.

I guess that is an option. But if he saw it by logging on to icrew and viewing his schedule, then how will he justify not showing up? :o

Just partly giving you a hard time--you're* take take was the same you'll hear from the experts who get paid for their take in front of the camera. I'm with you and I also think she had a really good race. But I can't help but note how the double standard applies: woman are just as good as men, but we have to give extra atta-girls to the women, cuz, well, their women. Just an observation. :D

(This is my protest against those who use "your" when "you're" is what is meant.)

I know, it's going to be a bit deceiving tomorrow to people when they say someone finished 8th and you think that's where they were the whole time. Really she was in position to win in the last turn and they go 2 or 3 wide and you fall 3rd to 8th really fast. Earnhardt JR had a great race too and made that move from 4th to 2nd in a flash. Aren't they teammates? He was like I'm going for the win, see ya.

And, I'll say this. I watched this race right along with my wife and daughter and we were glued to the tv. You wanna guess the last time they saw a race? Heck, even me. I don't watch Nascar but I'll watch the Daytona 500 maybe but I'd never cheer for a Chevy. I think I could point three drivers out of a crowd but thats it. But make it four now and yes I cheer for a Chevy. The girl is gold.

And I know this could be framed as girl beats discrimination in a mans world or just the opposite as some sort of affirmative action/ratings ploy by NASCAR, but I'll go glass half full on this one and say she is a good race car driver. Not to mention she looked mad in that interview and was trying to control her tongue, so she wants to win. That's cool. She seems like the real deal.

Someone said they were acquired to be sold off for parts. Basically to us. I've heard one of the issues with the 90s we have is parts, so maybe someone made the right move.

Kind of like that 4 engined Lockheed corporate Jetstar. Who in their right mind wants a four engine corporate jet? Those engines were run on Hawkers, Citations, Falcons, etc, it'd be like running 2 of those other jets with one fuselage! So you could buy an unwanted one for $700K or less. Go ahead, waste your money.

Of course one savvy mechanic at a TFE overhaul location figured something out, those desirable engines hanging on the pylons of an undesirable jet are worth $2M+. So buy the jet for $700K and sell the engines for a quick net of $1.3M. Smart guy.

Pretty much describes my NASCAR attention span as the same. Right there with you--would have liked to have seen her win, and think she did well. But as she'll be the first to say, 8th isn't good enough. And even though I'm guilty of cheering for her, I find it an interesting social dynamic (even in my own mind)--she wants to be seen as just as another driver, and win on her own merits, yet she gets more attention because she's a woman. Well, in this case I'm all for both of those because she's doing the same job without any concessions (that I know of)--won the pole position even. Now, if we could only get the Army to see things this way.
