I use the term "jumbo RJ" to differentiate the much heavier weight large Embraers and CRJ900 without typing it out. I guess if you want to make it rhetoric you can, but it is more out of laziness and not wanting to type out all the different types. The CRJ700 is in between and does not fall in that category. |

Of course, our net income is net of 1.962 Billion dollar write down on investments. US Air carries a third of our long term debt. Overall, US Air's financials are significantly better than ours when you start looking at metrics like current ratios and earnings / assets. Not saying I'd like to work there. Just stating the truth that they have eeked better performance out of a buck. Much of that is attributable to paying under market rates for labor. |
