You sure? Someone else said no. I can't find it in the contract.

Its vague under the Yellow slip section but you can find it on the short notice ladder 23 O. The template on Icrew really only lets you select certain rotations or days. I'm assuming you put in for a yellow slip and if the scheds really need an out of base person they call. Or you can call them and beg for flying(don't know why you'd want to do this).

Thank you. I wish I had known that a couple years ago. I'll give it a try. Never bothered thinking you couldn't.

In other news, our own FO rep for NYC C66 has been elected as one of the members of the negotiating committee. CN has always been a pleasure to fly with and was responsive to my questions, complaints, and suggestions. He's a good addition to the Negotiators. IMO, of course.

O.K., my bad. I see the CRJ700s lumped in with the E-175s too often, when in my mind those are different in many ways. The CRJ700 is just a stretched version of the CRJ200 tube. Not sure about the CRJ900.

I out of base yellowed a few years back. Youve got to do some begging.
I know for a WS or GS the contract says you have to get their on your own, don't know about a YS. |
This hasn't been real well advertised, but I watched the first show (of 6) and while a little overly dramatic (Ridley Scott production) on balance it's well done. Anyway, note from the Air Force Association:
Did anyone catch last night's part one of the documentary series "Inside Combat Rescue" on the National Geographic Channel? If not, catch another airing of it Wednesday, February 20th at 8pm! Inside Combat Rescue: Visions of War | National Geographic Channel Ferd |

Both it and the large EMBs max out the weight allowance. I wouldn't call the 700 just a stretched CRJ200... it has a new wing, vastly improved systems management, big engines, lowered floor (so you're not hunched over), rarely a weight restriction, and long range. I just usually don't refer to it as a jumbo- it could certainly qualify for my joke categorization. |
