Both it and the large EMBs max out the weight allowance.

I wouldn't call the 700 just a stretched CRJ200... it has a new wing, vastly improved systems management, big engines, lowered floor (so you're not hunched over), rarely a weight restriction, and long range. I just usually don't refer to it as a jumbo- it could certainly qualify for my joke categorization.

85,000 LB ramp weight, 84,500 TO weight.

The cr7 should be "lumped" with the e170 and the cr9 with the e175 if you're comparing similar seating capacities.

Isn't the E170 and E175 the same type rating? As is the CR7 and CR9?

The 70 seaters are 20 seats larger than the 50 seaters. The 76 seaters only add 6 more seats.

Although they could add a lot more. :(

Seriously, you are supposed to work for the MEC and you are on here trashing their decisions. Unbelievable. If you want to play internet blowhard then quit wasting my dues money in Atlanta and let someone else do the job.

On a side note, I didn't see you protest when the exact same thing happened in the election for EVP. Both were legal and proper under our Policy Manual. Are you just being hypocritical because you didn't get your way?

Big difference, fellow blowhard, when I took someone's money, I worked for them and supported them, I didn't tear them down in public. So pot don't meet kettle. If you want to take my money working for the union, don't tear it down. If he wants to air his views in private to the MEC then he is free to do that.

If Steve Dickson were to get on the internet and start bad mouthing Richard Anderson and the Board of Directors, how long does he keep his job?

Duh.

I don't think your analogy is all that good of one. One's a union, the other a business. As much as one might want to think of a union as a business it's truly not the same. Thus, not an appropriate analogy.

ALPA is a political organization- not exactly the same as Delta Corporate. You've written some very long diatribes on here while under FPL, amirite?

The constant ALPA/DALPA chest thumping and dirt slinging really gets old on here. I would think/hope my reps would be above this. I know that's a lot to ask but c'mon guys. Sheesh.

You are seriously confused. I do not work for the MEC. You sure seem intent on trashing someone on the MEC you don't like though - as you attempt to chastise me for not supporting the same.

Are you suggesting CN was elected as payback for not getting your way on the EVP election?
