There are three things that give me a headache or the dry heaves just by hearing them mentioned so it is tough enough for me to type this:

1. Jeremiah Weed
2. Tequila
3. Black Dog by Led Zeppelin (I can handle the new Robert Plant version).

I wonder who they have been going to? Many other nations are out buying us in gold by massive percentiles while our future debt interest : GDP ratios are staggeting and getting worse with no end in sight and many other nations signaling the end of the reserve currency spending gravy train.

Yeah me too. We can't start leaving non revs just because we don't have time to beep their ticket. That's rediculous. Worst case if we have to just send people down without stressing about the window/isle/EC/FC preferences if its a last minute thing, just send them down. But we can't leave our own people because we don't have time to deal with our own people while treating them like a waste of oxygen and wishing they would just go away. They are your most important customers, by far. Every single one of them net impacts the operation more than a plane full of million milers through the course of their careers. We have to take care of our people, or they will stop taking care of our customers. Its that simple.

For some reason I'm not really surprised that an airplane based in Atlanta, even if it's the lowest paying, would be disproportionately senior.

Even the 9 wasn't as junior as some thought it would be and that's an airplane people wouldn't bid because it requires too much work for the same thing. I think the airline pilot motto is something I learned on the ER... "the key is to see how few buttons you have to press to accomplish the same thing..."
